HTA speak at Space-Technology Day

Peter Lusby Taylor, Technical Design Director of HTA Architects, gave a presentation titled 'Steel frame housing' at a conference at the Space-Technology Day at the Building Centre, Store Street, London WC1, on Wednesday 16th May.

The Conference coincided with an exhibition called 'Space - New Urban Housing', and had an audience of around 150 people - designers, developers and housebuilders. The principle themes of the exhibition and series of seminars are:

  • innovative technical ideas for urban housing
  • making more usable, adaptable space in the new homes which are being planned now
  • raising densities without taking away space (and all at no extra cost!)

Other speakers included John Weir of Wilcon Homes, Jim Baker of Forge Llewellyn, Alastair Walker of Watkins Gray International, Paul Ragatski of Hanson Brick, Jo Smit Editor of Building Homes, John Jarvis of URS Thorburn Colquhoun, Alan Tovey of RCB Basement Development Group, Barry Munday of PRP Architects and Andy McCosh of Beazer Partnerships.
