Andy
McCosh
Beazer Group is one of the UK's largest housebuilders. Andy McCosh has
worked for Beazer since 1990 and is currently Marketing Director of the
company's Beazer Partnerships division, which operates in the highly
specialised area of social housing, working on a wide variety of urban and
rural projects for both public and private landlords.
His previous career encompasses a range of appointments in hospital and
health service management and project commissioning, together with positions as
Regional Development Manager for Orbit Housing Association's London & Home
Counties Region and Urban Renewal Development Manager for Ideal Homes London
Ltd.
In May 1998, Andy was a member of the Department of Trade and Industry's
research mission to Japan and a keen contributor to the subsequent mission
report "House from the Rising Sun."
His enthusiasm for the recommendations of the Construction Industry Task
Force's report "Rethinking Construction", together with his growing
interest in manufacturing technologies in housebuilding, inspired him to take
responsibility for formulating Beazer's successful submissions to the Amphion
Consortium of Registered Social Landlords and the Housing Corporation's
Kick-Start programme for stimulating growth and innovation in steel and
timber-framed manufacturing technologies.
